“So the idea and process behind this mix was to recreate a taste of what captured me in the early days when DJ’s took the Hip Hop sounds and styles and infused them into the early acid house with elements of breaks crossing over with the pounding 4/4 baselines. I wanted to turn it on its head using loops and vocals samples from many of those early tracks and layer them using 4 channels to create a musical story to what still makes me tick to this day.” DJ Luksta
